This directory contains possibly difficult to find drivers, usually shipped on driver CDs with devices. Most of the time, these drivers are outdated, incompatible or usuless, as most devices are plug & play on both Linux and Windows. However, in some rare insances, an obscure device may need those drivers or the user may be using an older operating system that does no ship the driver in the kernel (Linux) or install it when the device is plugged in (Windows). All drivers are compressed and archived in the modern .tar.zst format (ZSTD compression) in order to cut down on download times. ZSTD may not be comatible with old computers, however, in order to avoid using inferior proprietary formats, this is what I picked. You may need to exctact this on a modern machine first.
